More than 600 letters to Santa were delivered to Macy's Staff and representatives from The Hudson Valley Chapter of Make*A*Wish. Way to go, MWHS! That means $1,200 will be donated by Macy's to Make*A*Wish because of YOU!


Hey Class of 2023-Take a few minutes to review the Common Scholarship Application Packet. You can use one application form to apply for a wide variety of scholarships provided each year by local groups and individuals from PTAs to sports teams and community service organizations. The Common Application packet includes a complete listing of the scholarships, amounts and application requirements. All the information is on the high school website and on the Guidance Counseling webpage. Deadline to apply is February 28, 2023 so don't wait!

All Monroe-Woodbury schools will operate on a two-hour delay schedule today, Friday, December 16, due to slippery road conditions.
Schools will open on the following schedule:
M-W High School – 9:10 a.m. start time
M-W Middle School – 10:15 a.m. start time (early drop-off classes begin at 9:25 a.m.)
Sapphire and Smith Clove (K-1) – 10:30 a.m. start time
Central Valley, North Main and Pine Tree – 11:15 a.m. start time

Dismissal times are as follows:
M-W High School – 10:30 a.m. dismissal
M-W Middle School – 11:37 a.m. dismissal
Sapphire and Smith Clove (K-1) – 11:45 a.m. dismissal
Central Valley, North Main, Pine Tree – 12:45 p.m. dismissal
Families should expect buses to arrive at bus stops 3 hours earlier than usual. All after school activities and YMCA Club Kid are cancelled. Safe travels today!

Senior Collin Gilstrap's time of 15:21 at the Nike Cross Country Nationals placed him 19th out of 198 athletes competing today. His impressive time also earned him 3rd team All American Honors. Way to go, Collin! 💜🔥🌟


Congratulations to the November Buses of the Month- SC bus #578, MWMS bus #611 and MWMS bus #569! Students on all three buses are respectful, polite, clean and helpful to their drivers and peers. Way to go! 👏🚌

Congratulations to M-W senior Collin Gilstrap. This Saturday he will compete in the Nike Cross-Country National Championships in Portland, Oregon. The race brings together the best 22 teams and 45 individuals from 9 geographic regions across the US. Gilstrap qualified by finishing 2nd at the Nike New York Regional held in Wappingers Falls on November 26. Good luck, Collin! 💪⭐️🔥
