On Thursday, May 4, Sapphire Elementary School celebrated the return of Moon Night. Mrs. Peifer brought the vision to life complete with Tang, moon phases made using Oreo cookies, astronaut snacks, crater-making, upside down puzzles, and paper rockets.
Students and parents alike loved the event. Members of the National Honor Society were also on hand to volunteer at each of the stations. More than 300 people attended - it was a huge hit!
Enjoy the photos of Sapphire students as much as they enjoyed the event. A special thank you to the NHS volunteers, members of the Sapphire faculty and staff who supported the event, and all of the families for coming to celebrate.
