Colleen Buck, an Account Clerk for Pupil Personnel Services, and Patricia Mahan, an Occupational Therapist at Pine Tree Elementary, were among the individuals recognized by the Mid-Hudson School Study Council (MHSSC) for their remarkable contributions to education at the annual awards ceremony held on November 15, 2024.
Buck has served the Monroe-Woodbury Central School District community for 21 years in a variety of roles. Currently, Buck works in the Pupil Personnel Office as the Account Clerk Typist. During her time in Monroe-Woodbury, Ms. Buck has consistently demonstrated a high level of professionalism, attention to detail, and commitment to excellence in all aspects of their role to serve our community and students.
For the past six years, Dr. Mahan has shown exceptional leadership and qualities in the Monroe-Woodbury Central School District that puts students first. While developing multi-tiered systems for building based supports, she has exhibited remarkable knowledge, practical and organizational skills.
