On Tuesday, December 5, 2023, Monroe-Woodbury Central School District residents will be asked to vote on a proposed $98 million capital improvement program, which would address long overdue major system improvements and upgrades in all seven M-W schools as well as non-instructional buildings with ZERO tax impact to residents.
A virtual Crusader Chat will be held on Monday, November 13 at 12 noon via GoogleMeet. Residents are encouraged to join district leaders on the Meet by sharing contact information via an online form. A link to the GoogleMeet will then be emailed to all participants.
The goal of this multi-year capital program is to preserve the community’s long-term investment in our school facilities and to enhance the learning environment and energy efficiencies. The district’s top priority is to maintain the health, safety and well-being of students, staff and visitors. There would be ZERO tax impact to residents of Monroe-Woodbury.
To learn more about the proposal and vote, please visit the capital project page on the district website. An informational newsletter will be mailed to all resident households in mid-November. Please direct any questions related to the proposed project to Patrick Cahill, Assistant Superintendent for Business & Management Services, at pcahill@mw.k12.ny.us.
