
This week at North Main, according to the students in Ms. Bennettās class, they became celebrities! On Wednesday, February 2nd, as part of World Read Aloud Day Ms. Bennettās 2nd grade class joined several thousand other classes around the world in watching various authors read their stories. Out of three thousand classes in the session Ms. Bennettās class was picked to read a portion of the book! The students were so excited to have this opportunity!

All after school activities and athletic events are canceled today, Friday, January 28, 2022, due to the impending snow. The YMCA Club Kid program is also canceled.
All school buildings will be closed this evening and tomorrow, Saturday, January 29.

Important message from the M-W Food Services Department


M-W schools closed - Friday, January 7, 2022 -
Based on weather forecasts calling for periods of heavy snow resulting in ice and snow covered roads overnight and tomorrow morning, all Monroe-Woodbury schools and offices will be closed on Friday, January 7, 2022. There will be no in-person or remote instruction and all after school activities are canceled. Transportation will not be available for out-of-district students.
We are hoping that this advance notification will allow families time to make necessary arrangements.

The North Main PTA is delighted to announce the following Reflections contest winners in the Literature (Intermediate) category: 1st place was awarded to Carter Person. 2nd place went to Charlotte Wittrock. Unfortunately Amazonās widespread issues have impacted the districtās internet service and livestream capabilities . We are concerned that the virtual Town Hall meeting scheduled for this evening via livestream may be interrupted due to lingering connectivity issues. As a precaution, we have decided to postpone the virtual Town Hall meeting until Tuesday, December 14, at 5:30 p.m.
