Members of North Main's Drama Club not only put on an amazing production of Lion King Kids, they went the extra mile to raise funds for a worthy cause and help raise awareness about endangered animals.
- The Drama Club used club funds to adopt a lion cub. They made a $50 donation to World Wide Fund for Nature.
- The stuffed lion cub received from WWF was featured in the North Main show, when Rafiki holds up Baby Simba on Pride Rock.
- Cast members made videos to teach NM students about the animals featured in the show and shared each day for a week to promote our "loose change" fundraiser. Watch the videos here!
- Cast members did research on endangered animals and displayed information in the lobby of show performances.
- Between donations collected at school and at performances, the Drama Club raised $275 for WWF in addition to our initial $50 donation.
BRAVO, North Main!
