Today we pause to remember those who lost their lives on the anniversary of the 9/11 attacks. This year, on the 22nd anniversary of the September 11 tragedy, our hearts are with all the families and friends who lost loved ones that heartbreaking day.🇺🇸🗽

Stormy weather conditions are causing delays for this afternoon's buses. Please be patient! We are grateful for your understanding. Safe travels.

Welcome back, Crusaders! It was a GREAT first day. Get a good night's rest and we will see you tomorrow. Just a reminder to please be patient as our students and drivers adjust to their new bus routes. Thank you!💜

We have missed you! We are so excited to welcome our students back on Tuesday, Sept. 5. Enjoy the long weekend!💜🎉🥰

It is close, but it's possible that more Crusaders headed to the Dominican Republic this summer than to Disney World. Based on these pictures, it must be the weather and the amazing color of the ocean! What great vacations to remember as summer ends!

Speaking of family vacations, how about these two Crusader crews? 7th grader, Jaylen, and his whole family enjoyed a great trip to Antigua. Shyla, 10th grade, and Ethan, 4th grade, visited Puerto Rico with their mom, dad and siblings, who were MWCSD graduates! That's family fun!

How's this for a guaranteed weekend smile? There's nothing better than a family vacation, and these families show us how it's done, sharing their great trips to California and to the Kalahari Resort in the Poconos. Our Crusaders sure get around!

Check out these smiling faces as we welcome our new teachers and TAs to the school district. The countdown to the first day of school is underway and we can't wait!😊💜

Heading overseas, you can catch sight of a few more Crusaders vacationing! Some are taking in the sights of Mallorca and Barcelona, Spain. Another Crusader traveled even further to Japan to enjoy summer in a completely different part of the world. We love seeing what our students are up to. ⛩️🔆 Email us at communications@mw.k12.ny.us or DM Facebook or Instagram.

Staying south, you can catch some Crusaders playing baseball in the Dominican Republic, making friends with stingrays, and even relaxing by the poolside. ⚾🤿🔆We can't wait to see where a Crusader will turn up next! Send your photos to communications@mw.k12.ny.us or DM us on Facebook or Instagram.

Continuing our journey down south, some of our Crusaders had a fun time visiting an animal rescue and a zip line in Costa Rica. That's whaat we call action-packed and the fun doesn't end there. Some Crusaders traveled further south to take in the lovely sights of Colombia. Can you guess where we might find our next Crusader? 🐒🧭📸 Send your vacation photos to communications@mw.k12.ny.us or DM us on Facebook or Instagram!

As we head back down to Florida, you can spot our Crusaders relaxing by the beach at sunset or cruising by boat in New Smyrna Beach. What better way to enjoy summer than down by the beach? ⛵🔆 We can't wait to see where our Crusaders head next!

Back closer to home, two Crusaders had a great trip to Hershey Park, while another went to Boston for a concert at Fenway Park. Summer fun for sure! Keep sending your travel photos by email to communications@mw.k12.ny.us or DM us on Facebook or Instagram. Safe travels, Crusaders!
