Part of the grade 7 Family and Consumer Science curriculum involves learning how to use the appropriate kitchen tools to accomplish a task, in this case, cake decoration. Students worked in teams to recreate a complex design, with a winner announced in each class period. According to teacher Ms. Rizzi, these students used the best tools and techniques to copy her original cake.
