The Souza Scholarship Committee gives monetary awards to high school seniors in the form of college tuition payments, awarded to one or more deserving students. Grants are also made to students in grades 6-11 to be used to encourage further development in music or the performing arts, such as summer music camps, specialized workshops, advanced lessons or training and more.
Students may apply more than once for a Souza Scholarship:
Students in grades 6-11 are eligible to apply until they receive an award.
A student who receives a middle school award may apply again once he or she enters the high school.
A student in grades 9-11 who receives a scholarship may not apply again until their senior year, when they may apply for college tuition payments.
Application forms and more detailed information about the scholarship for all middle school and high school students can be found on the Souza Scholarship website: www.souzafund.org.
All applications must be submitted on the Souza website by April 8, 2022.
Interviews for finalists will begin the last week of April 2022.
