The Middle School Library loves Halloween. While there is always a lot happening at the library, October has some especially fun traditions.
Tradition #1 - The Candy Corn Count Contest
Students guess the number of candies in the big jar at the check-out desk. This year's actual count? 658 pieces of candy corn. This year's Candy Corn Contest winning guess? 664 pieces. Congratulations to Marelyn Agustin whose guess of 664 was almost exactly right!
Tradition #2 - The 13th Annual Spooky Story Contest
This year's winner is Cole O'Reilly whose story, "Your Friend Lily," has all the creepy, haunting elements the judges wanted.
Second place went to the story writing team of J. Rouchon and T. Zohora for their tale of "The House in the Woods."
The middle school is so proud of these up and coming writers!
Congratulations to all of this year's winners!
