Members of the MWHS Students Teaching Advocacy and Resilience Skills (STARS) club recently visited a MWMS health class to share a lesson in goal setting. Emily Pichardo, Chloe Oehme, Ava Mueller and Julia Yustein presented to Ms. Dell-Webster’s sixth grade middle school health class and spoke about different ways to attain education goals once they are set. HS students suggested techniques such as breaking down goals into small sections and conducting periodic check-ins.
STARS is a peer-education club where members promote healthy decisions and overall wellness with M-W students. Members are responsible for developing and teaching lessons to students from kindergarten through tenth grade.
