Dear Parents/Guardians of all 8th Grade Students:
The 8th Grade Moving Up Ceremony in celebration of our students’ academic accomplishments is scheduled for Thursday, June 22, 2023 at 9:00 a.m. in the HIGH SCHOOL gymnasium. In order for the ceremony to run smoothly and efficiently, we are requesting all attendees adhere to the following guidelines:
WRISTBANDS: An envelope containing ceremony wristbands will be given to your 8th grade student during their Advisory period (8:15 a.m. to 8:32 a.m.) on Tuesday, June 13
- Due to very limited seating in the High School gymnasium, only three (3) wristbands per family will be issued.
- Every adult and child must be wearing a wristband to enter the gymnasium.
- 8th grade students participating in the ceremony are NOT required to have a wristband.
- We cannot accommodate requests for additional wristbands.
LOCAL LIVE STREAM OF CEREMONY: Any person without a wristband will be directed to the High School auditorium where they will be able to watch the ceremony via Live Stream. Additionally, a link for the Live Stream will be posted on the district website giving family and friends not in attendance the opportunity to watch the ceremony from any location.
ATTENDANCE: June 22nd is a half day for all Middle School students. Therefore, we are required to maintain attendance records for our 8th graders at the ceremony. You will be receiving a link to a google form via email. Please be sure to complete and submit this form regarding your 8th grade student’s arrival and departure plans.
ARRIVAL & DEPARTURE: 8th grade students arriving at the Middle School by bus will be escorted to the High School by staff members. If you plan to drive your 8th grade student directly to the High School, please have them there by no later than 8:30 a.m. All students should immediately proceed to the gymnasium to take their seat. Those students who will be taking the bus home will be escorted back to the Middle School in time for dismissal.
PARKING: Attendees will have access to the High School parking lots beginning at 8:00 a.m. Once the High School lots are full, attendees will be directed to park in the Middle School lots and shuttle buses will be available to transport those attendees to the High School.
CEREMONY ATTIRE: We are requesting all 8th grade students wear appropriate attire for the ceremony (i.e. dresses, collar shirts/blouses, dress pants/skirt; dress shoes).
CELL PHONES: We are requesting the 8th grade students do not carry their cell phones on the day of the ceremony. Cell phones should be left at home or with a parent/guardian.

El 8 El Calificación Ceremonia de Ascenso en celebración de los logros académicos de nuestros estudiantes está programado para jueves 22 de junio de 2023 a las 9:00 horas en la ESCUELA SECUNDARIA gimnasio. Para que la ceremonia se desarrolle sin problemas y de manera eficiente, solicitamos a todos los asistentes que cumplan con las siguientes pautas:
PULSERAS: Se entregará un sobre con pulseras de ceremonia a sus 8el estudiante de grado durante su período de asesoramiento (8:15 a. m. a 8:32 a. m.) el martes 13 de junio el. Si tiene mellizos, el sobre se entregará al niño cuyo nombre aparezca primero en orden alfabético.
● Debido asientos muy limitados en el gimnasio de la Escuela Secundaria, sólo tres (3) pulseras por familia Será mencionado.
● Todo adulto y niño debe ser agotador una muñequera para entrar al gimnasio.
● 8el los estudiantes de grado que participan en la ceremonia son NO obligatorio tener una pulsera.
● No podemos aceptar solicitudes de pulseras adicionales.
TRANSMISIÓN LOCAL EN VIVO DE LA CEREMONIA: Cualquier persona sin se enviará una pulsera al auditorio de la escuela secundaria donde podrán ver la ceremonia a través de Live Stream. Además, se publicará un enlace para la transmisión en vivo en el sitio web del distrito para que los familiares y amigos que no asistieron tengan la oportunidad de ver la ceremonia desde cualquier lugar.
ASISTENCIA: 22 de junio es medio día para todos los estudiantes de secundaria. Por lo tanto, estamos obligados a mantener registros de asistencia para nuestros 8el calificadores en la ceremonia. Recibirá un enlace a un formulario de Google por correo electrónico. Asegúrese de completar y enviar este formulario con respecto a su 8el planes de llegada y salida de los estudiantes de grado.
LLEGADA SALIDA: 8el los estudiantes de grado que lleguen a la Escuela Intermedia en autobús serán escoltados a la Escuela Secundaria por miembros del personal. Si planea conducir su 8el estudiante de grado directamente a la escuela secundaria, hágalo llegar a más tardar a las 8:30 a. m. Todos los estudiantes deben dirigirse inmediatamente al gimnasio para tomar asiento. Los estudiantes que tomarán el autobús a casa serán escoltados de regreso a la escuela intermedia a tiempo para la salida.
ESTACIONAMIENTO: Los asistentes tendrán acceso a los estacionamientos de la escuela secundaria a partir de las 8:00 a. m. Una vez que los estacionamientos de la escuela secundaria estén llenos, se indicará a los asistentes que se estacionen en los lotes de la escuela intermedia y habrá autobuses disponibles para transportar a esos asistentes a la escuela secundaria. .
VESTIMENTA DE CEREMONIA: Estamos solicitando los 8el los estudiantes de grado usan vestimenta apropiada para la ceremonia (es decir, vestidos, camisas/blusas con cuello, pantalones/falda de vestir, zapatos de vestir).
CELULARES: Estamos solicitando el 8el los estudiantes de grado hacen llevar sus teléfonos celulares el día de la ceremonia. Los teléfonos celulares deben dejarse en casa o con un padre/tutor.
