Diverse Minds-Unified Hearts Week is in full gear at MWHS! After a kick-off message from Student Council, 9th & 11th grade students enjoyed a presentation by Dr. Mykee Fowlin, "You Don't Know Me Until You Know Me." Today representatives from PPS and ADAC , M-W alumna Allison Murphy and more offered information about mental health supports, understanding disabilities and showing compassion during all lunch periods. EVERY day should be Pajama Day! CV students had extra special guest readers today (wearing PJs, of course) as they wrapped up their week-long reading celebration. Superintendent of Schools Elsie Rodriguez and Director of Instructional Support Julisa Rincon-Tomizawa entertained students with the fun tale, Creepy Carrots! Mrs. Rodriguez read to the students in Spanish as the English words appeared on the large screen. What a wonderful end to an amazing week! Enjoy the weekend, Crusaders!📚🌞

To show our appreciation for our drivers we have created a bulletin board with safety slogans and inspirational messages in each bus window. We have also created a fun quiz contest. Any employee can take a ticket. On each ticket I ask a bus safety related question each week. Every Friday we pick a random ticket with the correct answer to the question and that person wins a prize.
Love the Bus is about inspiring people, caring about our employees and showing appreciation for all we do to keep our students safe and ready to learn each and every day.
Good luck to our Varsity Hockey Team who is heading to the Brewster Ice Arena tomorrow, March 2, at 1 p.m. for a match up with Suffern HS in the NYSPHSAA Regional Hockey Championship. Let's go, Crusaders!🏒🥅

The M-W Boys Varsity Basketball team was victorious last night over Newburgh and is heading to the Section IX Finals for the first time since 2006!

This past week, A.S. King, Printz Award winning young adult author of several books including,“Please Ignore Vera Dietz,” “Ask the Passengers” and “The Collectors,” visited MWHS students. The MWHS SADD Club is one of 12 chapters that has partnered with NYS SADD and State Farm Insurance to create awareness and change for safe driving practices. The club is in its SADD ERA (paying homage to Taylor Swift's ERAS tour), promoting Passenger Safety and Safety is Love. On Valentine's Day, they hosted a table during lunch periods where students, staff and faculty could create and share friendship bracelets and Valentine's Day Cards.🚗💝
