On Friday, Sept. 29, M-W will GO GOLD in honor of all those people who are fighting cancer, those who have won the battle, and the angels watching over us. We wear gold as a show of compassion for families, friends, neighbors, colleagues, alums and all members of the M-W family who have been impacted by pediatric cancer. #mwgoesgold

Have a safe, restful extended weekend, Crusaders. We can't wait to see you on Tuesday, September 26!💜

Please mark your calendars for the annual countywide Early Dismissal Drill, scheduled for Friday, October 6, 2023. Students will be dismissed from schools 15 minutes early and will arrive at bus stops and homes approximately 15 minutes earlier than usual.
Thank you!

Reminder: All M-W schools and offices will be closed on Monday, September 25, in recognition of Yom Kippur.

Today we pause to remember those who lost their lives on the anniversary of the 9/11 attacks. This year, on the 22nd anniversary of the September 11 tragedy, our hearts are with all the families and friends who lost loved ones that heartbreaking day.🇺🇸🗽

Stormy weather conditions are causing delays for this afternoon's buses. Please be patient! We are grateful for your understanding. Safe travels.

Thanks to the amazing Senior Art Major Class of 2023 who, under the guidance of Mrs. McGuckin-VanGelder, created this beautiful mural that is now installed in the B North stairwell at MWHS. BRAVO!

We have missed you! We are so excited to welcome our students back on Tuesday, Sept. 5. Enjoy the long weekend!💜🎉🥰

It is close, but it's possible that more Crusaders headed to the Dominican Republic this summer than to Disney World. Based on these pictures, it must be the weather and the amazing color of the ocean! What great vacations to remember as summer ends!

Speaking of family vacations, how about these two Crusader crews? 7th grader, Jaylen, and his whole family enjoyed a great trip to Antigua. Shyla, 10th grade, and Ethan, 4th grade, visited Puerto Rico with their mom, dad and siblings, who were MWCSD graduates! That's family fun!

How's this for a guaranteed weekend smile? There's nothing better than a family vacation, and these families show us how it's done, sharing their great trips to California and to the Kalahari Resort in the Poconos. Our Crusaders sure get around!

9th grade orientation in the books! Class of 2027, we see you!👀 Welcome, Crusaders! 💜

Check out these smiling faces as we welcome our new teachers and TAs to the school district. The countdown to the first day of school is underway and we can't wait!😊💜

THEY'RE HERE! We love having our student-athletes back on campus as tryouts continue. Good luck, Crusaders!💪💜

Heading overseas, you can catch sight of a few more Crusaders vacationing! Some are taking in the sights of Mallorca and Barcelona, Spain. Another Crusader traveled even further to Japan to enjoy summer in a completely different part of the world. We love seeing what our students are up to. ⛩️🔆 Email us at communications@mw.k12.ny.us or DM Facebook or Instagram.

Staying south, you can catch some Crusaders playing baseball in the Dominican Republic, making friends with stingrays, and even relaxing by the poolside. ⚾🤿🔆We can't wait to see where a Crusader will turn up next! Send your photos to communications@mw.k12.ny.us or DM us on Facebook or Instagram.
