The National Council of Teacher of English (NCTE) hosts an annual convention that positions literacy educators to share, study, learn, reflect, and grow in the company of their peers and nationally recognized authors, pedagogues, and educators.
This past November, three high school English teachers - Michelle Bulla, Kerry Baird, and Holly Spinelli - presented at the 2022 convention, ¡Sueños! Pursuing the Light! They shared their model of departmental collaboration and engagement that reflects how the HS English Department uses vision, theory, and professional learning to manifest specific learning, practices, and endeavors for students in the classroom.
