Students in three of Jessica Puopolo's high school science classes researched the background and work of black scientists as part of their curriculum during Black History Month. Students learned about the accomplishments and lives biochemists, neurosurgeons, geologists, chemists, astronauts, and more. Each student created a slide outlining information about the scientists and the impacts they made on our world.
