On April 9-11, members of Monroe-Woodbury High School’s Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) attended the FBLA State Leadership Conference in Rochester, NY. Competitive events at the state Leadership Conference play an integral role in the mission of FBLA. According to the FBLA conference description, they “prepare students for successful careers in business by providing opportunities to apply classroom concepts in a workforce-simulated competitive environment.”

Siddhi Ranganathan won NYS FBLA Reporter and Sanjita Raja won NYS Vice President for District 3N. Sanjita Raja will be hosting the 3N Fall District Meeting and Spring District competitions at MWHS next year. Both students will begin their state officer training over the summer in preparation of the 2025-2026 academic school year.
All events placing up to 4th place will qualify for nationals being held in Anaheim, CA at the end of June. With multiple chapters competing at the state level and over 1,000 students in attendance, Monroe-Woodbury took home 2nd place for Gather and Grow and 6th place for Chapter of the Year. What a great accomplishment! Go Crusaders!
