February is Biliteracy Month here at M-W !

The New York State Seal of Biliteracy (NYSSB) is an award that formally recognizes high school graduates who have attained a high level of proficiency in listening, speaking, reading and writing in one or more languages in addition to English. The NYSSB encourages the study of languages, affirms the value of diversity in a multilingual society, and provides universities and future employers with additional information about applicants.

Monroe Woodbury is proud to offer the opportunity to earn this special recognition to our graduating seniors. Students are encouraged to contact their guidance counselor if they are interested in obtaining more information.
