Since the 2023-24 school year, MWCSD K-12 Library Coordinator Catherine Gardner has been partnering with local libraries to find ways of getting library cards into the hands of students. What started out as a project at one school had developed into a districtwide effort to help families access all the wonderful offerings at local libraries, including access to fun-filled programs, books and e-books, movies and more!
Currently, all students entering kindergarten, second grade, sixth grade and ninth grade receive a library card, which gives them access to several libraries serving Monroe-Woodbury families.
