Mrs. Colbath’s kindergarten class was treated to a surprise read-a-long visit from Monroe-Woodbury HS Board of Education’s Student Representative, Dylan Escobar. Dylan read “Our Class Is A Family” and spoke of how each of us can be kind to one another. Dylan emphasized family can mean different things including siblings, as well as classmates.
After discussing how the class can practice kindness, students participated in a coloring activity where they illustrated different ways to be kind.
