Code of Conduct Reminder for Students, Parents and Guardians
As with any school event, all school rules and regulations apply during the Junior Prom, as outlined in the Monroe-Woodbury Central School District Code of Conduct. All students and their guests are expected to conduct themselves in a safe and respectful manner at all times.
We ask that parents and guardians discuss such expectations with their child in advance of the junior prom. If your child is attending a pre-prom gathering, please reach out to the host's parents to verify that alcohol and/or any controlled substance will not be available. Should any student be found to be involved in the use or possession of alcohol or other illegal substance, they will be subject to school consequences pursuant to the Code of Conduct.
If a student is suspended out of school between April 2, 2024 - May 18, 2024, they may be unable to attend prom.
In order to meet current West Points regulations, the following deadlines are strictly in place:
(a) All prom tickets must be purchased by April 19, 2024.
(b) ID required for entrance into West Point.
West Point currently requires the following:
1. Parents and students entering West Point will need a State issued ID or a School ID.
2. Hired drivers and limos will need to be told in advance that they will be going into West Point so that they can get clearance.
3. Parents driving students must have identification on them to be let in.
