Because being a Crusader is more than just completing work in a classroom. It also means supporting our community members and impacting their lives in a positive way. To this end, Ms. Baird's class assignment challenged students to identify a need in our community, develop a service project that meets this need, and see it through to implementation.

On Wednesday, March 6, students hosted Spike Down Hunger: Volleyball for a Cause. All students who participated in the volleyball competition "paid" their entrance fee with cans of food to benefit the community food pantry. More than 160 cans of food will now be making their way into the homes of our neighbors in need. Well done, Crusaders!
