Finalist for National Merit Scholarship

Monroe-Woodbury High School senior Anushree Buragohain has been named a Finalist in the 2024 National Merit Scholarship® Program. Approximately 15,000 students nationwide have advanced to the Finalist level to compete for some 7,250 National Merit Scholarships worth more than $28 million.

To be considered for a Merit Scholarship® award, Semifinalists fulfilled several requirements to advance to the Finalist level of the competition. Anushree received a Certificate of Merit attesting to her recognition in the program. All National Merit Scholarship winners (Merit Scholar® awardees) will be chosen from this group of Finalists based on their abilities, skills, and accomplishments.

Good luck, Anushree! Way to go!
