On Thursday, February 1, members of the Monroe-Woodbury chapter of the Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) competed at the 2023-2024 NYS FBLA District elimination event at Monroe-Woodbury High School. Students from eight schools from surrounding counties participated in the competition. M-W student, Diya Mangatt, who serves as current NYS FBLA State President, presided over the event.

- Rachel Sanchez - 2nd in Introduction to Decision Making
- Siddhardth Ranganathan - 3rd for Sports Management
- John Paul Hanna - 3rd for Business Calculations
- Ella Cherian - 4th in Impromptu Speaking
- Anya Malhotra - 5th in Business Law
