Students from Mr. Vero's College CPR / First Aid class took a field trip to The Orange County Emergency 911 Center and Touro Medical College. At the Orange County Emergency 911 Center, students were taken on a guided tour where they learned about the different divisions that make up emergency management at the county level and the importance of being prepared for an emergency.
At Touro Medical College, students learned about the many different career paths in medicine and had the amazing opportunity of receiving a hands-on tour of several of the college's laboratories, including the Simulation lab and the Anatomy and Physiology lab.
What an awesome way for M-W students to learn firsthand about career opportunities in medicine!
