This afternoon, law enforcement notified the school district that an individual in crisis was on foot near the train tracks behind the Woodbury Commons. As a cautionary measure, Central Valley Elementary, Monroe-Woodbury Middle School, Monroe-Woodbury High School and Smith Clove Elementary were placed in lockout for approximately 15 minutes while law enforcement conducted a search. At approximately 12:45 p.m., police activity concluded, the lockout was lifted and schools returned to normal operations.
