Dear Crusader,

It’s been a great week at our high school and I want to thank you all for making this the best Spirit Week - EVER! The energy, enthusiasm, and positivity that radiated were nothing short of inspiring. I love seeing all the smiling faces! Lots of exclamation points in this letter because I’m feeling excitement, joy and pride!!!

Your creativity and dedication were evident in every event, from the amazing themed dress-up days to the spirited Pep Rally and “Football Under The Lights” game! Seeing the student body come together in such a cheerful way was a sight to behold. You created memories that will be cherished by all for years to come. It is my wish that you have wonderful memories of your high school years!

I want to extend a special thank you to the student council, teachers, staff, and admins who worked tirelessly behind the scenes to organize and coordinate the various activities. Your hard work and commitment did not go unnoticed and were crucial in making Spirit Week a success!

During the “Football Under The Lights,” I was so proud of how the players pushed through and how the fans cheered. This was an emotional moment because you all came together. Teammates supported and uplifted one another and the cheerleaders  and fans encouraged the players. The Pep Band entertained us and sparked enthusiasm! Though the outcome was not what we would have liked, I am so proud of the feeling of family and how you all handled the disappointment.

As I reflect on the past week, I am reminded of how great our M-W students are! Your positive attitudes and team spirit have set a high standard for future Spirit Weeks, and I have no doubt that our school will continue to shine brightly! Let’s build on what we started this week and keep the good vibe going!

Once again, thank you for an outstanding Spirit Week and I am incredibly proud of each of you!!

Crusader Pride!

Elisa
