TESTING INFORMATION, REGULATIONS AND PROCEDURES
*Students are to bring a photo identification with them
I. STUDENT TRANSPORTATION: Students are to provide their own transportation to and from each Regents exam.
Regents Exams: Wednesday, August 16th and Thursday, August 17th
- Students are expected to be at the school at 7:15am for their 7:30am exam
- Students are expected to be at the school at 11:15am for their 11:30am exam
Uniform Admission deadlines:
- Morning Examinations: 9:15am
- Afternoon Examinations: 1:15pm
*No student may enter/begin a NYS Regents Exam after 9:15AM or 1:15PM, or be excused before 10AM or 2PM.
II. COMMUNICATION DEVICES:
The possession &/or use of any communication device while taking a state and local examination, either in the room where the test is being administered, or while on a supervised break (such as a bathroom visit) is strictly prohibited.
Such devices include, but are not limited to:
- Cell phones
- iPods and MP3 players
- iPads, tablets, and other eReaders
- Personal laptops, notebooks, or any other computing devices
- Cameras or other photographic equipment
- Wearable devices/smart wearables, including smartwatches and health wearables with a display
- Headphones, headsets, or in-ear headphones such as earbuds
- Any other device capable of recording audio, photographic or video content, or capable of viewing or playing back such content.
Exams will be invalidated, and no score will be calculated if any such device is seen or used in any manner, and if headphones are worn while in the testing room.
III. CONFLICT ROOM (LIBRARY MEDIA CENTER):
Students and parents should immediately review the testing schedule for conflicts (more than one exam at a time/overlapping exam) and these should be reported to the Summer School Principal, Amanda Greenblatt at agreenblatt@mw.k12.ny.us.
IV. STUDENT ABSENCES AND MAKE-UP EXAMS:
Absences from New York State Regents Exams cannot be made up until the next scheduled administration in January and June of 2024.
