Dear Parents/Guardians:
It’s almost here; graduation day is rapidly approaching! For many parents, it feels like the first day of kindergarten was just yesterday. Now your child is preparing for graduation and the next phase of life. I know that this can be an emotional time for many of us, with feelings ranging from joy and pride, to uncertainty and a longing for a few more moments of adolescence. The time has gone fast, and Monroe-Woodbury High School is proud to have had the opportunity to serve your students.
Thank you for entrusting us with this privilege and for partnering with us to cultivate the next generation of leaders. Monroe-Woodbury’s legacy of excellence will live on in your students as they embark on the next chapter of their lives.
This letter is designed to help guide you through the graduation process. Please read all materials on the ‘Senior Celebration Page’ found in our Newsletter. Complete necessary forms and respond by the deadlines. This will be your official information site for updated links and materials as information will not be mailed home.
Graduation will take place at 6:00 p.m. on Friday, June 23, on our turf field - there is plenty of seating available. In the event of inclement weather, the celebration will take place in our gymnasium. We have limited seating in the gymnasium; therefore, each student will receive 2 tickets. Tickets will be given out before the end of classes which is June 13th.
We will livestream the event for all your family and friends to enjoy!
