Students from the MWHS unified physical education classes recently completed their first-ever fishing unit. Their culminating activity included a fishing adventure at Airplane Park in Monroe, where they were joined by members of the MWHS Athletic Club and special visitors from central office. In total, 26 Unified Students and 16 members of the Athletic Club reeled in 37 fish throughout the day. Well done!
Special shout out to Officer Josh Schneider, from the Department of Environmental Conservation, was on site to supervise the trip. Students can't wait for their next fishing trip...they are all in…hook, line and sinker!
