FEMA, in coordination with the Federal Communications Commission (FCC), will conduct a nationwide test of the Emergency Alert System (EAS) and Wireless Emergency Alerts (WEA) this fall.
This test will consist of two portions, testing both WEA and EAS capabilities. Both tests are scheduled to begin at approximately 2:20 p.m. ET on Wednesday, Oct. 4. In case the Oct. 4 test is postponed due to widespread severe weather or other significant events, the backup testing date is Oct. 11.
The WEA portion of the test will be directed to all consumer cell phones. The EAS portion of the test will be sent to radios and televisions.

Today we pause to remember those who lost their lives on the anniversary of the 9/11 attacks. This year, on the 22nd anniversary of the September 11 tragedy, our hearts are with all the families and friends who lost loved ones that heartbreaking day.šŗšøš½

It is close, but it's possible that more Crusaders headed to the Dominican Republic this summer than to Disney World. Based on these pictures, it must be the weather and the amazing color of the ocean! What great vacations to remember as summer ends!




Speaking of family vacations, how about these two Crusader crews? 7th grader, Jaylen, and his whole family enjoyed a great trip to Antigua. Shyla, 10th grade, and Ethan, 4th grade, visited Puerto Rico with their mom, dad and siblings, who were MWCSD graduates! That's family fun!
