Congratulations to MWHS Senior Liam Gaffney who has been invited to be a student guest speaker for Orange County's Red Ribbon Week Kick-Off event on Monday, October 24. The 2022 National Red Ribbon Week theme is "Celebrate Life, Live Drug free," a reminder that every day Americans across the country make significant contributions to their communities because they live drug free.
Ms. Kovatch, the Prevention Coordinator for the Alcoholism and Drug Abuse Council of Orange County, stated: "We can think of no other student in the county has worked as hard or been as dedicated to teen mental health and substance abuse! It would be an honor to have you speak and inspire students from across the county."
