Dear Monroe-Woodbury families,
As we head into the winter months, we are reminding all M-W families to please have arrangements in place for your child in the event of a 2-hour delay, early dismissal or school closure, and to make sure your child is aware of these alternative plans.
We are closely monitoring reports regarding weather conditions that may impact our area overnight and early tomorrow morning. If there is a need to delay opening, dismiss early or close school, we will notify families by 5 a.m. via email, phone or text (if opted in - see directions below), based on preferences selected on the Parent/Student Portal.
Families may download the MWCSD mobile app if you would like to receive push notifications. Information will also be posted on the district’s website, Facebook page and Instagram account.

How to OPT IN to receive text messages:
Text “Y” to the number: 67587 from the phone number you have registered to your Student’s Profile as a contact.
You will receive a text message confirming you have registered to receive text notifications: “You’re registered 4 SchoolMessenger notifications. Reply STOP to cancel, HELP for help.”
Please note: If you DO NOT “OPT IN” for text notifications, you will NOT receive emergency text notifications. You will only receive phone calls or emails.
