Students cheered "Most Valuable Teacher MVT” when they learned that their beloved fifth grade teacher, Mrs. Morgante, was the most recent recipient of the “Crusader Cause for Applause” staff recognition award. District and building administrators, along with Superintendent of Schools Norman, surprised Mrs. Morgante with a special presentation in her classroom. She was nominated by Assistant Principal Marisol Jackson.

Known for her passion for teaching and positive energy, Central Valley fifth grade teacher Mrs. Morgante motivates her colleagues and students alike.

Mrs. Morgante has taught at Monroe-Woodbury Central School District for 29 years and approaches each day with a smile. She is an inspiration to all who have the pleasure of working alongside her.

“Thank you for your dedication to our students. It has been a pleasure getting to know you and work with you. I am excited to see what the future has in store! You are off to a great start to the school year!” said Assistant Principal Marisol Jackson.

This new initiative, created by Human Resources, recognizes staff members throughout Monroe-Woodbury CSD who demonstrate outstanding teamwork and commitment to our students and families.

Congratulations Mrs. Morgante! Keep smiling!
