Board of Ed - News

The Monroe-Woodbury Board of Education will hold a Special Meeting on Wednesday, June 5, at 6:00 p.m. in the auditorium at Monroe-Woodbury High School. The Trustees of the Board of Education anticipate convening into Executive Session at 5:30 p.m. for purposes of discussing personnel. They will also reconvene into Executive Session to discuss legal updates after the public meeting.

This meeting includes the introduction of the newly-appointed Deputy Superintendent. There will be a two month overlap with Superintendent Rodriguez, so the newly-hired superintendent will begin with a title of Deputy Superintendent. On September 1, 2024, their title will change to Superintendent.

In addition, the District will recognize student achievements over the last year and retiring and newly-tenured staff members. The community is invited.

As a reminder, there is no public comment at Special Meetings. The agenda will be available on BoardDocs prior to the meeting.
