The school district, and many districts throughout Orange County, have been without internet today, Thursday, April 11. We have been working with our service provider, OU BOCES, to identify and rectify the issue. While BOCES believes they have identified the source of the problem, it is most likely the district will not have internet service tomorrow, Friday, April 12.
For those families who have students participating in state testing, we will not be conducting state tests tomorrow, Friday, April 12, due to the uncertainty of internet service. Your child’s building principal will follow up directly with a revised testing schedule and instructions for students.
Please be aware that school employees will not be receiving emails until service is restored. Phone service is operating smoothly throughout the district and families may call their child’s school if there is an urgent matter.
