The Athletic Club and the Student Leadership Committee (SLC) recently sponsored a volleyball tournament to provide HS students with an opportunity for some friendly competition and social interaction. In lieu of an entry fee, all participating students were asked to bring in non-perishable food items that were donated to our community food pantry. A total of 13 teams and 74 students participated in the 2 hour event and more than 150 cans were donate to the food bank. Students had a great time and more events are in the works for the future. Kudos to students Liam Gaffney and Jules Johannemann (SLC) “getting the ball rolling” and to the Athletic Club who assisted with logistics. 🏐😁🥫
