Members of the Monroe-Woodbury Chapter of the Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) achieved great success during a competition held on Thursday, February 10 at MWHS for schools from Orange, Dutchess, Putnam, Ulster and Sullivan counties. For the first time in more than 40 years, M-W students hold state office titles allowing them to preside over district events: Zongyuan (Derek) Li presided over the competition as the FBLA State Vice President of District 3N, along with Matthew Edelstein, NYS FBLA Executive Vice President .

- Emily Taveras - 5th place, Impromptu Speaking
- Kyle Torres - 5th place, Business Communications.
