This past weekend the MWMS Odyssey of the Mind team competed in the 46th annual New York State Tournament at the State Fairgrounds in Syracuse, NY. Coached by Joanne McInerney & Janet Rivera, the team competed against other teams from across the state. Their camaraderie and love for problem solving was infectious and they brought home an impressive sixth place finish.
Although their Odyssey journey has come to an end for the season, we are so proud of the hard work and dedication of our Creative Crusaders! Team members Madison Kamfoi, Samir Malik, Matthew Joseph, Alyssa Johnson, Angelina Felix, Ellie Vergara and Michael Rivera impressed the judges with their teamwork, creativity and perseverance.
