The high school and middle school chapters of Monroe-Woodbury's Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) competed in their district competition on Friday, February 7.  Students did an excellent job showing their Crusader pride!  

Middle School Level:  

  • Matthew Campbell placed 2nd in Exploring Public Speaking and 3rd place in Financial Literacy

  • Christopher Vasquez placed 2nd in Exploring Leadership and 3rd place in Exploring Business Ethics

On the high school level:

  • Tanay Shah placed 1st in Introduction to Decision Making and 1st place in Introduction to Financial Math

  • Tahirun Syed placed 2nd in Introduction to FBLA

  • Kanggun Lee placed 2nd in Financial Math

  • Prabtegh Gill placed 2nd in Introduction to Financial Math and 3rd place in Job Interview

  • Siddharth Ranganathan placed 3rd in Impromptu Speaking

  • Mia Kawada placed 3rd in Introduction to FBLA

  • Connor Santaiti placed 3rd in Introduction to Public Speaking

  • Sanjita Raja placed 4th in Client Service

  • Prasad Saha placed 5th in Public Speaking

  • Ella Cherian placed 5th in Business Communications

  • Ava Cherian placed 5th in Sports Management

  • Anya Malhotra placed 5th in Business Law

In addition, Siddharth Ranganathan, Sanjita Raja and Swathi Sathiyamoorthy sat for the state officer exam.  Our students will now be preparing for the state competitions that will be held in April 2025 in Rochester, NY.  Our state officer candidates will begin preparing their campaign and speeches.  Let's wish them the very best for April!
