Pine Tree Elementary At-A-Glance
A Great Place to Grow
The District’s largest 2-5 building holds more than 750 students. Since the school opened in the 1960s, Pine Tree has been known for its passionate educators who prepare students for a successful secondary and post-secondary education. In fact, a second generation of students is now learning in the same classrooms as their parents did years ago!
Pine Tree’s post office, music programs and school store, as well as many exciting clubs, allow students to thrive and achieve academically, physically and socially.
Pine Tree currently enjoys a full continuum of classrooms. Students of varying ability levels interact while participating in orchestra, band, the school play, or special area classes. The annual Celebration of Capabilities week is one of the many highlights during the school year and helps showcase how all students are unique, while celebrating everyone’s abilities.
The Pine Tree Parent Teacher Association continues a strong, supportive tradition of providing a myriad of engaging activities for students, including assemblies, field days, fifth grade special events, a variety of evening programs, and more.
Pine Tree’s motto, “A Great Place to Grow,” says it all.
