This course is designed for any student who failed a World Language level 1 course or as an elective for any student interested in exploring the culture, customs and traditions of various countries (Italy, Germany, France, Spain etc).

The course is primarily taught in English with minimal vocabulary in the target languages.  This course satisfies the NYS mandate for graduation of 1 unit of study in a World Language. Any student wishing to continue with a three year language Regents sequence must take a World Language level I, II, III.
