On Tuesday, December 5, 2023, Monroe-Woodbury Central School District residents will be asked to vote on a proposed $98 million capital improvement program, which would address long overdue major system improvements and upgrades in all seven M-W schools as well as non-instructional buildings.

A Crusader Chat will be held on Thursday, November 2 at 6 p.m. in the Education Center, 278 Route 32, Central Valley. The Chat will also be offered via livestream: https://events.locallive.tv/events/127089. Residents are encouraged to attend or submit questions via an online question submission form. A virtual Chat will be also offered at 12 noon on Monday, November 13. A link to join will be shared prior to the Chat.

The goal of this multi-year program is to preserve the community’s long-term investment in our school facilities and to enhance the learning environment and energy efficiencies. The district’s top priority is to maintain the health, safety and well-being of students, staff and visitors. There would be ZERO tax impact to residents of Monroe-Woodbury.

To learn more about the proposal and vote, please visit the capital project page on the district website. An informational newsletter will be mailed to all resident households in November.  Please direct any questions related to the proposed project to Patrick Cahill, Assistant Superintendent for Business & Management Services, at pcahill@mw.k12.ny.us
