| Nicole Regan is the District Music Coordinator here at Monroe Woodbury Central School District. In addition to her K-12 administrative responsibilities, Mrs. Regan teaches instrumental music lessons throughout the band program. Prior to becoming our district music coordinator, Mrs. Regan directed the middle school Symphonic Band and most recently taught band and general music at Central Valley Elementary School. She was instrumental in creating our board approved curriculum through her extensive research in differentiated instruction and multiple intelligences and under her leadership as President, the Orange County Music Educator’s Association was granted the Arts Organization Award from the Orange County Arts Council. Mrs. Regan is also an active accompanist for choirs and soloists throughout the region and is in demand as a guest conductor throughout New York State. Prior to coming to Monroe-Woodbury, she taught in the Washingtonville and the Pine Bush School Districts. Mrs. Regan is a graduate from the Crane School of Music at SUNY Potsdam where she received both her Bachelor’s and Master’s Degrees in Music Education. |
