Trevor Ladue is Athlete of the Week

on December 19, 2016

The Monroe-Woodbury Athletic Director, Lori Hock, would like to announce that Junior Trevor
Ladue is the “Athlete of the Week” for the week ending December 23, 2016 for the Monroe-
Woodbury Varsity Boys Indoor Track and Field Team coached by Matt Hemmer.

After a very successful Cross-Country season, Junior Trevor Ladue is in the midst of his best
start to an Indoor Track and Field season. Trevor is a valuable member of the team running
events ranging from the 400m to 3200m. At the recent Jim Mitchell Invitational, Trevor
anchored the Crusaders 3rd place 4 x 1 Mile relay team in a personal best time of 4:49.4. One
week later, at an OCIAA meet at West Point, Trevor continued his blazing start to the season by
finishing 6th place in the 1000m in another personal best time of 2:45.2. He followed that up
later in the meet by helping the 4x800m relay to a second place finish with yet another personal
best 800m split of 2:10.8. As the Crusaders season moves along, Trevor will be an important
piece to the puzzle as the coaches figure out how to defend the OCIAA Division 1
Championship.

Congratulations Trevor!
