By now all Monroe-Woodbury families should have received information about the National School Climate survey currently available online to parents, students and staff.
A few things to note:
- Climate, in this instance, relates “to the quality and character of school life” (National School Climate Center). The district is attempting to gather insights and facts about students’ experiences in M-W schools and believes that students, parents and staff are the best source for this information.
- Parents should have received email notifications providing a survey link for a student’s school. Please keep in mind that all answers will remain anonymous and no identifying information will be requested. The district is seeking honest, genuine answers that will help us better identify areas of strength as well as pinpoint areas of concern.
- If parents have problems gaining access to the survey or haven’t received information, they should contact their child’s building principal. The survey will be offered until May 13.
Parent and student participation is a vital part of the survey process. Thank you, in advance, for helping us build a stronger Monroe-Woodbury Central School District.
