On December 20th, Monroe-Woodbury FBLA had their induction ceremony. Members, parents, as well as administration were welcome to join as many new faces became members of FBLA. During this ceremony, the installation of officers also takes place. A candle was lit for each of the officers as their names and positions were announced. Tim Mulvihill was officially installed as president, Nicolena Vega as vice president, Anjani Maher as secretary, Lauren Granowski as reporter, Eileen Wang as vice president of scrap book, Devika Naik as Treasurer, and Daniel Willis as vice president of Program of Work. Along with the new team of officers providing information about FBLA and guiding the new members through the ideals and creed of FBLA, Mr. Kravatz, MWHS principal, spoke to the audience about his knowledge of business as well as his excitement to see what the future holds for the club. In addition to Mr. Kravatz, Mrs. Lyn Cear, Managing Director at Deloitte, attended and spoke during the ceremony. She is very eager to be working with the club and is delighted to be sharing her extensive knowledge and experience in the business world with Monroe-Woodbury. At the end of the ceremony, each member was presented with their 2016-2017 membership card.
