All aboard!

At 5:30 a.m., 50 seventh and eighth grade Student Government and National Junior Honor Society Members boarded a bus and began their journey to Washington D.C. The group will be sightseeing today and attending the Leadership Experience and Development (LEAD) conference beginning tomorrow afternoon.

During the LEAD conference, students and advisors will attend workshops that will sharpen their leadership skills to improve our school culture and community, while networking with their peers from around the country.

After stopping for lunch today, the group will visit the National Spy Museum where they will embark on missions to “Save the World.”

Please continue to check here for updates of the group’s activities. Updates will also be posted on the district’s Facebook page and Instagram.
