Today is an “A” Day
ALL Any student that took 1st Aid and CPR with Mrs. Pietropaolo last semester, please stop by Room 140 to pick up your Red Cross cards.
ALL SAVE would like to thank all who helped make our “cards for St. Jude’s Ranch” Project such a success. Because of your generosity and concern we were able to send 865 cards to the Ranch for recycling.
ALL There will be no Science Olympiad meeting this week. Our next meeting will be on Thursday, February 18th at 2:15 pm in Room 229.
ALL There will be no SADD meeting this week. Enjoy your Presidents weekend.
ALL There will be a meeting of Amnesty International tomorrow, February 11th at 2:10 pm in Room 440. Everyone is welcome.
ALL Please check out the messages you wrote to a loved one or friend in the Valentine’s Day edition of the Crusader Newspaper Club coming out this Thursday! Reminder: the next submission due date for the March issue is Tuesday, March 2nd. Send in all work to mwcrusader@mw.k12.ny.us or drop it off in Room 321.
ALL The next SPECTRUM meeting will be today at 2:15 pm in Room 438. We will be taking a photo for the Yearbook and holding elections. All members must attend. New members are always welcome.
ALL The regular meeting of the Youth for Ending Hunger & Homelessness Club will be held today at 2:10 pm in room 241. We will discuss our plans to raise money and supplies for local projects and the Haiti earthquake relief effort.
ALL Interact will be selling bracelets in order to benefit Haiti relief effort. The bracelets will be sold during Lunch Periods, and in Room 314 today, and continuing until tomorrow, February 11th. The cost of the bracelets is $3.00.
ALL The Computer Club will meet today at 2:10 pm in Computer Lab A, Room 161.
ALL A representative from BOCES will be here to present New Visions on Wednesday, February 17th at 2:00 pm in Room 130. If you are interested in hearing this presentation, please sign up in the Career Ed Office (Room 207) by today.
12 NHS Seniors will meet tomorrow, February 11th at 2:10 pm in Room 153. Attendance is required.
12 The deadline for the $1,000.00 Jim Taravella Memorial Scholarship has been extended to Tuesday, April 6th. See your House Office for details.
12 The Mid-Hudson Chapter of the New York State Association of School Business Officials is offering a $500.00 scholarship award to a graduating senior in good academic standing. Applicants must be pursuing a course of study in business, finance and/or education. Applications are in the House Offices. The deadline is Friday, February 26th.
12 Attention Seniors! The Common Scholarship Application is now available on the Monroe-Woodbury Website. The deadline is Friday, February 26th.
