This year, as in the past, Monroe-Woodbury’s transportation department made blankets for Project Linus, a non profit organization that offers homemade blankets for children. Volunteers, known as “blanketeers,” provide new, handmade, washable blankets to be given as gifts to seriously ill and traumatized children, ages 0-18.
